My Story
Kent Michael's is a Minneapolis rapper and DJ who makes sad, emotional rap for the nights that don't end when they should. His newest single, "What Am I," came out October 17, 2026. Like the rest of his music, it doesn't pretend things are fine.
He has been putting himself out there since 2017, when he started his YouTube channel, and in 2024 he started DJing. Then the releases came quickly. The album Crossroads arrived in November 2025. You Left I Stayed Broken followed on July 27, 2026, with eleven tracks including "Love Is War," "Broken Heart," and "Heartbeat." The single "Old Hometown" came out in August 2026, and "What Am I" followed in October.
The music is for anyone who stayed when someone else left and kept going anyway. It's honest, it's heavy, and it's still being written.
